Kicking off May (and the birthday month) was one - slam-packed, fun-filled, bowtied, legggggo, exhausting but worth every minute of it - weekend.
I mean ... c'mon ... it's me afterall ... what other way would I spend my weekend?
Starting off with the Quail Party on Friday night ... a black-tie charity event kicking off the Wells Fargo golf tournament .... even though it has NOTHING to do with the golf tournament --- hey, its boys in tuxedos ... so just go with it. We had a great time supporting "First Tee" charity amongst some other organizations here in Charlotte.

Saturday - was DERBY DAYS ... and a little threat of rain and clouds couldn't dampen my spirits of one of my favorite days! Sundresses, roses, bowties, hats, mint juleps! We had it ALL!

just chopping some tomatos in heels and apron and curls. nothing to see here....
Lilly and Derby go together like boys and bowties!
although these boys refused to wear bowties. #hmph
we are ready to watch the race!!!
Sunday - a little cinco de mayo action ...and WHAT is the 5th of May without some stick on mustaches???? OLE!
