Will Boise State finally win a National Championship? (They put on a good show Monday night) ...Or will NC State take the title , they claim they are contenders every year? (but let's get serious)... Will Oregon continue to exceed the boundaries of good taste with and absurd amount of multiple variations of their uniform? (simply ridiculous) ... Will Carolina ever dig ourselves out of this mess that the NCAA has thrown upon us? We will all find out over the next five glorious months.
We started off our football season with a trip down to Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic featuring the Tigers of LSU and of course, Carolina. It was an interesting game considering we had to leave most of our team behind due to allegations and the NCAA investigation - but the boys proved us proud and we had a heck of a game.
We had an even better time enjoying the HOTlanta atmosphere. Friday was spent mostly in the car listening to what can only be described as a ridiculous amount of Atlanta and 1990's rap ... and Britney Spears, we had a delicious dinner Friday night at the Capital Grille with the fam (sans Alston, who I think we are replacing with Chris Hamrick anyway) and on Saturday we enjoyed the MARTA and of course, tailgating!!

(I will admit - I think I prefer opening up the season in Chapel Hill and enjoying the lake for the long weekend after)
