Saturday Tina and I decided we wanted to head west to Gastonia and hit the trails on Crowders Mountain.
Not having a clue how to get there (and our GPS brought us to the wrong visitors center) and not having a clue what trails were good ... we decided to tackle it anyway.
We picked the "Pinnacle Trail" -- because we knew it would take us to the top -- and although it was labeled "strenuous" -- went for it anyway.
