Ellen's Birthday Weekend!

The OLDEST Mann child turned THIRTY this past weekend - and we celebrated with a fun filled weekend at the lake. With some of Ellen's oldest friends and some of the new ones as well - we brought 30 in the only way we know how - with style. We also had plenty of sunshine, boating, floating, eating, dancing, catch phrasing (and my team winning) and even had some time for some ping-pong and napping.

Ellen did come down with strep throat the afternoon of her actual birthday ... and spent the rest of the evening in bed ... but we did get her up to blow out her candles and maybe in a few days she will actually be able to have a piece of her cake! (( FEEL BETTER ELLEN!!))

Also I would like to note that this year we avoided kitchen sinks, mirrors and the FDR at 60 mph. So I would chalk it all up to a success really.  Enjoy a few photos to sum up the weekend!

Pretty in Pink

Ellen's 30th Birthday Edward Cullen cake.
(who would have thought "30" and "Edward" go in
the same sentence?!)

Preparing the cake for Ellen to get out of bed and blow out her candles!

close up of Edward ... you can't see it ... but he sparkles.
