On a GORGEOUS Friday in February (gah, I love the South)... Ellen, Me, Scott and Chris..... had ourselves a little tailgate in the Carolina sunshine and ventured into the RBC Center for "Rod Brind'Amour Night". A sell-out crowd with standing room only seats ... we were ready.
Facing one of the top teams in the East ... not to mention Brindy's old team ... the Canes were ready to take on the Philadelphia Flyers !!!
It was a great ceremony ... the Flyers and Canes both came out for the presentation in their #17 jerseys before changing for the puckdrop. A little video trip down memory lane, some blasts from the pasts came to pay their respects ... including Lord Stanley's cup itself.
A leader, a Captain - a Stanley Cup champion. Thanks Roddy -- VAMOS LAS CANES! :)
