Rives' big purchase before we left for the lake last week was a Shark Hat ... I assured him sharks DID NOT live in the lake. He spent quite a lot of time picking out what animal hat he wanted, placing each one carefully on his head and making the appropriate animal noise. The shark seemed to growl more like a bear ... but honestly, what noise does a shark make? Other than bone-crunching noises as it eats its prey -- too intense for a 3 year old? I thought so too. Thus, the shark growls and yells like a wolf/bear/monster. Hey, if it works for him ... it works for me.
