WE'RE OFF TO THE RACES!
The most exciting 2 minutes in sport history was this past weekend ... and so we clearly made a whole day of it!
Hats, sundresses, bowties, horse betting, roses, mint juleps (in my silver, monorammed cup of course -- thanks ELIZ!) ! We were about as official as we could get without being IN Kentucky!
Derby pies, chicken salad, and Mint Juleps before we headed to the lawn of the Mint Museum in Charlotte for Derby Days! Where we had cornhole, croquet, food, a band ... and of course a big screen tv for the race!!
My horse didn't win -- as a matter of fact -- wasn't even top 5. But he did have an AWESOME name! I mean Sabercat! ... I can only think of the Thundercats when saying that name -- ergo -- awesome.
