How to share, how to listen, how to be kind to others, how not to eat the crayons...
As Kelli and Ben's wedding date approaches ... 10 of us girls headed down to Savannah, Georgia to celebrate with a girls weekend. NO BOYS ALLOWED. Although, we did have a letter of advice from one of the girls' Kindergarten students ... and I'll admit -- I pretty much agree with the little dude.
Which translates into:
"Kelli,
Don't give up.
Be Calm.
Just kiss him really fast.
celebrate.
You get what you get and you dont pitch a fit.
Love, Jonas"
So that became our quote for the weekend (other than call me, maybe) ... you get what you get, and you don't pitch a fit. Now let's SELEBRAT ... or celebrate!
We started out early on Friday morning, picking up Lauren from Columbia and never looked back ...
Whats better than lunch at Tubbys on the river ... where you get a free drink if a ship passed. We thought it should include a boat. or a tugboat. or a duck. Really we learned if you just yelled "boat" ... people would accomodate you.
BOAT!
The rest of the weekend included: making new friends (some of which may or may not have been homeless...no excuse me.. roofless..because home is where love is and they were full of love), taking a trip on the Savannah Slowride, doing some window (and actual) shopping, eating eating and more eating, masks, tapas, photobooths, winning at 5 Guys, dance parties, boats, pool time, and of course -- celebrating Miss Kelli !!!
