Ok, if you are already on the internet - (well you are, since you are reading this) and you feel as if you should do a good deed for today (which you should) -- please take an extra 2 minutes and vote for the Junior League of Raleigh's "Backpack Buddies" program to receive a grant as part of Pepsi's ReFresh grant program!
They have to be in the top 10, and they are currently #100 out of 1,000 - so keep them climbing up that list!!!
You can vote daily (so if you feel like doing A LOT of good deeds) and you can do it via the website, facebook AND vote using text and they both count - you can use multiple email accounts too....so I vote from work and gmail daily... clever!
Long story short: They are trying to get a grant for "Backpack Buddies"....packing up backpacks of food for kids to take home from school on the weekends or over school breaks because they don't get food at home!
