Jingle Jog 5k & Tacky Sweaters galore.

"I am fast. To give you a reference point, I'm somewhere between a snake and a mongoose. And a panther." - Dwight Schrute

Saturday morning the Charlotte Thunder Road Marathon, 1/2 Marathon and 5k Jingle Jog took place.Which normally means shutting down half the roads in Charlotte and causing frustration for those who are not participating ...

So to fix this - we thought - heck, why not join?! While some of our friends took on the task of 13.1 miles ... Michelle and I opted for the shorter - yet still productive - 3.1 miles. (of course our plan failed miserably as we went to pick up friends from the finish line and it took us 45 minutes and a square ... just to cross over 2 streets ... crazy marathoners keep running!)

Running in support of "Pounding the Pavement for Parkinsons" ... we took to the streets of Charlotte... finishing in about 32 minutes ... solid.

Michelle and I are ready for 3.1 miles ... or are we?!

In reward for our hard work that morning - we celebrated with the 2nd Annual: Tacky Christmas Sweater Party ... held this year at the lovely home of Michelle and Austin. We had everything from bedazzled sweaters to ones that lit up...oh, yes. true story. Thanks again to Mom for the use of her sweater ... and thanks to Talbots for producing such a wonderful article of clothing!

Mindy, Liz and Me in our Christmas Best...

Why yes, Austin's sweatshirt lights up and has puff pain--
and Bean has bedazzled pink presents.
And yes. Matt's is a v-neck.

The hostest with the mostest (POST race photo!)

Ross made his sweater. No lie ... and impressive.

The ladies looking good, as always.
