Last weekend we were in Nashville .. and now it is underwater... literally. Looks like they scheduled the 1/2 marathon activities just in time!!! Here are some picture's sent to me of the current flooding going on. Could you imagine if this occured while I was there for my race?! I would have had to swim 13.1 miles instead of run ... goodness!
But seriously - there are a lot of relief efforts going on to bring aid to those trying to save their homes, possessions, and landmarks such as The Grand Opry. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and people of such a fantastic city.
