Two weekends ago (I know, I know I am WAY behind on my post ... don't worry ... Carrie has let me know) ...
So like I said, two weekends ago - the Varsity Boys Lacrosse team won their 3rd State Championship in a row (and 8th overall) against PDS. It was an important season as the motto was "Will Power" and every game and practice and effort was in memory of a student who graduated last year and passed away from a brain injury over the summer. Will's parents were in attendance, along with the rest of the student body to witness the team bring home the championship!! It was fun to see the seniors, who were sophomores when I first got to Charlotte, celebrate and end their high school athletic careers on a GREAT note.
