2nd Annual AMF Spring Soiree!

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since the 1st Spring Soiree to benefit the National Students of AMF. ... an organization started by David Fajgenbaum in honor of his mother.

This weekend was the 2nd annual shin-dig in the Stock Room in downtown Raleigh.

We had some wine and cheese at Ellen's brand new house and then headed over to the auction and party! Ellen's new house is coming a long so well! Still in need of some furniture...but we got some bar stools, a couch and a DVD player... and thats a good start!

Over 200 guests attended this years Soiree and bid on live and silent auction items! Ellen racked up quite a nice little bundle of gifts ... and one of our buddies won a beach weekend that we can not wait to all take advantage of! The whole night was a lot of fun ... catching up with everyone, enjoying the atmosphere ... and helping out a cause. Dave, who most of you know is battling his own sickness at the moment, was even out for the event and he looked GREAT making his first public apperance since Christmas!  The night was a success raising money for the AMF Network and promoting the organzation's mission to help cancer research and awareness and also help those who are fighting the battle.

Throw in Hannah Massey coming in from Charlotte and a last minute decision to add Elizabeth to the guest list ... What gets better than that?!

Seriously - about 10 minutes before we hopped in the car to go ... we looked at Eliz and convinced her throw on one of Ellen's dress and come with us ... and she did. One of the reasons out of many that I love my family.

The girls .. minus Eliz ... ready to party!

OH WAIT! Change of plans ... ALL THE LADIES BE READY TO PARTY!

Ellen and Lucky Charms!

with Dave ... YOU LOOK SO GOOD!

glad to see Simon in from New York -- Can't wait for the BEACH!

Scott and Hannah and I are excited to be there!

there was a lot of ROBOT dancing afterwards ...

and I mean ... A LOT of Robot dancing.

Top off the next morning with Ellen's Egg & Cheese McMuffin and some Dave Chapelle stand up DVD and it was a wonderful weekend.

Of course Sunday didn't quite go the way I wanted it to with my Heels losing to Kentucky ... however; watching it with good company is always key ... plus a little hide and go seek always cheer's someone up.

Too bad little Anne Marie found him very easily.

Congrats to AMF and all those who volunteered with the Soiree on such a FANTASTIC evening! Can't wait for next year!
